Building Democracy & Community Power

Public lands are for everyone to honor and enjoy. They bring health, peace, and happiness to our lives, and tell a diverse and rich story of our history as a people.

From the Grand Canyon to our neighborhood parks, these special places across Arizona must be preserved and protected for future generations. Sacred sites must be acknowledged and respected. Our quality of life, history and culture, and public health depend on these important natural resources.

Let’s celebrate our heritage, protect our home, and leave a strong legacy and sense of place for the next generation. Join the movement to defend and improve our lands, local parks, and open spaces today.

Chispa Arizona commissioned a poll to get a pulse of Arizona voters and their thoughts on parks and public lands.  The results, Arizona voters overwhelming support these own spaces and believe that Arizona elected officials, from state to federal, should support funding of federal and state lands. The poll was representative of the political spectrum of Arizona.
